EVENING | Once you’ve arrived in Denton, jump start the weekend with happy hour drinks. Catch up with old friends at the Loophole, and munch on an appetizer sampler for the table. For dinner, walk next door to LSA Burger Co., and ask for a patio table that overlooks the historic Courthouse-on-the-Square.  Afterward head over to Paschall’s Bar, Denton’s only speakeasy, and sip on a craft cocktail.

Cheers, the night is young!

Day 2

MORNING | Make sure you’ve set the alarm early for a full day of fun with Mean Green fans! Start your day at one of Denton’s coffee shops, as you’ll probably need the pick-me-up after last night's festivities.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast from Cartwright’s Ranch House, with biscuits & gravy, omelets, and Huevos Rancheros on their menu. From there, walk over to the Discover Denton Visitor Center and suit up in UNT gear.

Make sure you are properly stocked for tailgating with drinks to-go from the Bearded Monk or the Midway Mart. Then, make a run to Buc-ee's, Texas’s famous gas stations, for the essential items to make it the best tailgate ever! Their brisket, jerky, and convenience-store snacks are legendary!

AFTERNOON | Before you head to the stadium have a plan in place for parking by checking out the latest information on the University of North Texas football website. There you will find which lots are open and any requirements for the day.

EVENING | Bring your action-packed day to an end on Fry Street. This spot is home to Denton’s original bars, all within walking distance of one another. If you want a local experience, order drinks at Lucky Lou’s, Riprock’s, and Cool Beans. Bonus - Zalat Pizza is open until 2 am and Insomnia Cookies delivers until 3 am.

Day 3

MORNING | After you’ve hit that snooze button three or four times, you’re ready for a proper Denton send-off. Head straight to Old West Café or any of these popular breakfast and brunch spots for the energy that’s needed for your trek home.
