Uniting people over parks, play, and pups. The Denton Parks Foundation and over 7,000 dog lovers will be barking in the park this September 10, 2022, for the 28th Annual Dog Days of Denton. Join them for a tail-wagging, free, and fun event at Quakertown Park. Plus, visit vendors, learn a thing or two from experts in the field, participate in canine contests, and enjoy food and brews, all benefiting the North Lakes Dog Park.

This 28th Annual celebration will continue to be a free event and open to the public. Dog Days of Denton is a free event and proudly welcomes friendly dogs and their owners. All owners are responsible and liable for their pet(s). For everyone’s safety, dogs must be on a leash during the event and have proof of current vaccinations. Event highlights include a spokesdog pageant, glamfur shots, agility & lure course, and doggy university. They also have stage calls for Dancing With The Dogs, How Obedient is Your Dog?, Dog Singing, Pet Tricks, and Canine Couture. 

New this year! In an effort to raise money for much-needed shade structures and dog park amenities, the city is selling V.I.Paw passes.

V.I.Paw tickets will be available starting July 23rd at $15 for one human and 1-2 dogs and $5 for individuals without dogs.
V.I.Paw holders will receive the following benefits:
