The Downtown Denton Foundation's Arts & Autos is back, featuring classic cars and hot rods, live music, a chalk art competition, and vendors all in the heart of downtown Denton. This family friendly, free event, is a Denton classic that you won't want to miss. Established in 1999, Arts & Autos is a celebration of classic cars & trucks, the arts, and community in the heart of Downtown Denton. Car collectors and enthusiasts are welcome to enter their vehicle for a chance to be awarded a custom trophy as voted on by event judges and community members. Families will enjoy the festive atmosphere, car displays, and art activities.

This isn't your standard car show—it’s a rolling art gallery where creativity hits the road and every vehicle tells a unique, visual story. Join us under the downtown lights to get a first look at these moving masterpieces!

- Friday Night Pre-Party Kick-Off: Kick off festival weekend at the Patterson Appleton Arts Center with art cars on display, gallery access, and evening festival energy.
- Interactive Community Graffiti Car: Grab your brushes and markers! Join in on a collaborative public art project by adding your own creative touches to our official community graffiti car.
- Fantastical Vehicle Showcase: Get up close with hand-sculpted, painted, and wildly modified art cars crafted by regional artists and visionary builders.
