One of our favorite spots is Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center with an outer loop of a trails system that totals 3.2 miles - perfect for 5K trail runners! If your dad loves the water, Lake Ray Roberts is just a few miles outside of Denton. With its many beach areas, fishing spots, boating docks and more it is a dream come true for any outdoorsman.

Wildhorse Golf Club in Robson Ranch is a public course, but there are many others to choose from for members such as Denton Country Club, Oakmont Country Club and Lantana Country Club. Or, if your dad would just prefer to hit a few balls, Northlake Recreation Center and Park has a driving range.
