The Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE) is the largest of its kind in the world, and its success was not possible without the wonderful support from the City of Denton and from the Denton Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). This meeting was the second time I have worked with Dana Lodge and the CVB. The planning took a good two years between Denton CVB and UNT. Without Dana and Kim the hotel and transportation issues could have never been worked out so smoothly, nor would the tours (including the Horse Country day trip) have been so successful. Plus, I know that Dana and Kim worked diligently within our budget to accommodate this international conference in every way possible. Words alone just cannot express what dedication and kind support I have received from Dana, Kim and CVB over the past two years along. Tirelessly working on the minute of details and the organized enthusiasm of Dana and the others should make you exceedingly proud. You have a wonderful CVB and great people representing the City of Denton! Thank you for sharing them with me for both international conferences!

For the past four years, we have developed an ideal working relationship with the Denton Convention & Visitors Bureau (DCVB). With the increased awareness of the North Texas horse farms, the DCVB has served as a vital link in arranging the visits to the ranches and farms for my groups. Their relationships with staff at the various farms insured that groups would see and experience the very best. Also, we wanted to avoid duplication from one tour to the next, and the Denton CVB has made sure our visits were all unique.
The DCVB is an ambassador for neighboring cities and for the State of Texas. The history that weaves itself from Denton to Abilene and beyond has now developed into new excursions we call “”The Butterfield Overland Stage Tour & Trails West.”” The idea was conceived by the DCVB, and they have been enthusiastic and accommodating, working with Patti Tours to develop this program into a tour all ages enjoy.
I cannot say enough about the support we have been given by the DCVB. They are there with staff, brochures, marketing assistance, planning ideas, and just about anything a tour operator needs to make a program successful.””
