Catch A Ride
Starting three hours before every home game, and continuing for an hour after, the 2017 Mean Green Game Day Shuttle will provide free and easy travel to and from North Texas games and Downtown Denton with no worries about traffic and parking hassles. Leave your car at home this football season for a unique game day experience in Denton!
It’s simple to ride the new Mean Green Game Day shuttle. Live in Dallas? Ride the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Green Line from Dallas to Trinity Mills in Carrollton to connect to the DCTA A-train. The A-train will get you to the Euline Brock Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC). Live in Denton, but want to avoid the traffic? DCTA has fare-free zones now – including from the MedPark Station to the DDTC. MedPark has plenty of parking, so park there, ride for free to downtown and hop right on the shuttle across the street!
From there, board the free shuttle which will take you to the Mean Green Tailgating Village and pedestrian bridge that leads to Apogee Stadium. The buses will also stop at various hop on/hop off stops along Hickory, Oak and Fry Streets, so passengers can visit Denton restaurants, shops and bars before or after the football games.
Coming from Dallas? Get on any line to the downtown area, change to the Green Line (north towards Frankford Station), then switch to the DCTA A-train at Trinity Mills Station to the Downtown Denton Transit Center. The final train back south after the game will leave the DDTC at 11:53 p.m.
