Peterbilt Pride and Class truck parade

Peterbilt Motors Company in partnership with United Way Denton County is once again hosting the Pride and Class Parade through downtown Denton.  Peterbilt and the United Way Denton County, along with partner agencies City of Denton, Denton County and 50 Peterbilt custom trucks from around the United States and Canada, invite you to join in the parade on October 11, 2019. The parade viewing route will take the trucks around the square starting from Hickory and Elm streets and will begin at 7:00 pm.

This event is part of the annual United Way campaign to raise donations for United Way of Denton County. #PeterbiltUNITED

Tonight is the annual Peterbilt Pride & Class Parade which will involve delays and road closures in the downtown area. At approximately 6:15 p.m., 50 trucks will leave Peterbilt on Airport Rd. and head to the Denton Square with a police escort. The trucks will not enter the main lanes of I-35 but will stay on the service road to Fort Worth Dr. where they will turn north. They will then utilize Carroll, W. Hickory and Elm to reach the staging area located at Elm and Carroll. At approximately, 6:45 p.m., the following intersections will close:
Locust St will be closed at Mulberry,
E. Hickory will be closed at Austin,
E. Oak will be closed at Austin,
Elm will be closed at McKinney, and
W. Hickory closed at Carroll.
The parade is expect to last until approximately 8 p.m., and all intersections will be opened as soon as it is safe to do so.
