These all-levels yoga classes can be found all over town and are taught by a variety of instructors. FREE classes: Monday nights at 6 p.m. on the Courthouse Lawn, Happy Hour Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Dan’s Silver Leaf, Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. on the Courthouse Lawn. $5 classes: Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. at Harvest House, Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at Andy’s Bar, Fridays at 10 a.m. at Denton County Brewing Company and Sundays at 11 a.m. at Denton County Brewing Company.

Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center (open daily from 6 a.m. – 10 p.m., free admission)
This area has more than 2,900 acres of bottomland hardwood forest, prairie and diverse aquatic habitats. There are more than 10 miles of hiking trails, dogs are allowed on leashes and visitors can schedule guided hikes with the master naturalists or attend a workshop on arrowhead hunting, bird watching, composting and more.

Denton Area Running Club Summer Run Series (Mondays at 7:30 p.m. starting June 10, free registration)
Need motivation to get fit? Come run with a few hundred of your new best friends! This all-levels 5K will take you on a tour of different areas of town every Monday night. Some weeks even include ice cream from Beth Marie’s or a pool party and cookout after the run. Participate in 6 of the 8 runs this summer for a free t-shirt.
