Denton Historic Home Tour

DISCOVER A PIECE OF HISTORY

Tour the historic homes of Denton, Texas as part of the John B. Denton College Neighborhood National Register district. Historic Denton's mission is to continue the creation of historical surveys focused on original 1921 residential neighborhoods.

WHEN

Take a walking tour of one of Denton's best-kept secrets, Denia Neighborhood! As part of Denton Revealed 2023, staff from the Denton County Office of History and Culture, the Denton Public Library, and the City’s Planning Division wanted to create a special walking tour through the unique neighborhood of Denia. Known mostly by locals for its hidden mid-century modern residences, the Denia neighborhood is a perfect example of grassroots preservation within Denton and the greater county, preserving a myriad of architectural styles. Click here for the map of homes and where to start the tour.
