Your guide to gettin’ hitched in Denton.

Selecting the right place and setting the scene for your special gathering is an important part of wedding planning for spouses-to-be. Denton has plenty of venues that will make your special day memorable!

Apricus Venue · If you desire Tuscan charm with water views, consider Apricus for your ceremony and reception. It offers a 10,000-square-foot event space inclusive of a 4,700-square-foot ballroom, along with a patio and outdoor space by a 1.5 pond with water features. The venue can accommodate the most intimate gatherings to receptions with up to 300 guests and everything in between. Its full-length windows in the ballroom offer beautiful water views surrounded by nature. The patio and covered terrace are also versatile for all celebrations and events.

Ashton Gardens · The fairy tale feel of Ashton Gardens is heightened by towering evergreen forest and natural light, outside and in, courtesy of wall after wall of floor-to-roof windows. Long timbers border the ceiling where chandeliers catch light and dazzle guests with tiny rainbows. Ashton Gardens’ elegant ambiance is enhanced by exquisite décor. The chapel seats 300 guests, the reception hall up to 400. Fine champagne bubbles in crystal flutes and cheers ring out as another couples’ dream comes true.

Courthouse-on-the-Square · Where better for two hearts to become one than this iconic spot, Denton’s holy ground? The Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square is nearly 120 years old. A canopy of twinkling oak and pecan trees shade its native limestone blocks and pillars. A vast, lush lawn surrounds the beloved building like rich carpet. This crown of the county, Denton’s community living room, is a stunning backdrop to “I do.”

Little Chapel in the Woods · Atop the hill on the edge of Texas Woman’s University campus stands the Little Chapel in the Woods. Inside, sun reflecting stained-glass makes rainbows dance on the rock-tile floor. An ornate wood alter contrasts hand-mortared walls. Famous architect and Denton son O’Neil Ford designed, and university students and faculty built, the Little Chapel to accommodate 110 people. It was dedicated in 1939 by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.

The Milestone · The Milestone mansion accommodates up to 325-person parties in grand, southern-plantation style: glowing chandeliers, polished hardwood floors, and built-in bar. 52 acres of lawn and gardens surrounded by big oak trees make indoor and outdoor weddings equally spectacular. If a rustic barn wedding is what you’re looking for, consider the Morgan Creek barn. Guests will feel comfortable in our air-conditioned and heated modern barn, which features an outdoor covered cocktail patio with string lighting for you and yours to experience the beauty of the countryside.

Studio E · A unique and historic venue located in the heart of Denton’s square, Studio E’s floor-to-ceiling brick walls and industrial-chic design create speakeasy vibes. With 2,000 square feet and up to 100 guests, this intimate space is a blank canvas to bring your vision of your perfect day to life!

Sunago Bell · Cascading light and breathtaking, panoramic views of Downtown Denton make this venue a memorable spot. The ambiance is set with stylish furnishings, the light of 300 hand-blown glass bulbs suspended from the ceiling, and the effortless cool of the building’s industrial design. Sunago Bell can accommodate up to 200 people in its spacious, 3,200-square-foot, open-plan interior.

Wildwood Inn · The Wildwood Inn’s architecture is so distinctly European, guests sometimes forget they are in Texas. The inn sits on four wooded acres minutes from Denton’s city center. Each of its 14 guest rooms are uniquely and richly appointed. Behind the inn, a shaded pool reflects a leafy green canopy. A stone path ambles to an arbor where couples exchange vows. Wildwood Inn’s extravagant atmosphere and formal-yet-alluring grace accommodates 125 guests for events.
