We are having a very exciting year at the Denton Community Market! We have more than 130 members total, with an average of more than 70 vendors per week. Some of the new vendors offer products that are very popular with our visitors, from the free range chicken of Nacho Llama Ranch to Morph Speakers, a Denton-based start-up business selling carved wood speakers for smart phones.
Local live music is featured every week from DentonRadio.com or our performance coordinators. Every week the Market also holds children's activities from several local groups, such as Explorium Denton, a proposed science museum for kids or Sustainable Denton, a City of Denton initiative.
The Market continues to receive support and recognition from the community, winning third place this year for Best of Denton, Best Community Event. The UNT Union also just recognized the market as one of the top "Five Fun Things to Do in Denton."
